It appears that the program "Electronics Workbench" is not compatible with Windows 10 64-bit and you are encountering an error message. To resolve this issue, you can try the following solutions:

  1. Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the program shortcut or executable file, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and enable compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows (such as Windows 7 or Windows 8). Apply the changes and try running the program again.

  2. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the program shortcut or executable file, select "Run as administrator," and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

  3. Contact Support: Reach out to the support team or developer of Electronics Workbench to check if they have any updates or fixes for compatibility with Windows 10. They may be able to provide further assistance or suggest an alternative solution.

If none of these solutions work, you may consider finding alternative software that serves a similar purpose. Some popular alternatives for Electronics Workbench include Multisim, LTspice, and KiCad.

I replaced my computer with a Windows 7 PC and I can't install my registered copy of Electronics Workbench. The error says that I need a 64-bit version. My attempt to use the troubleshooting did not worked. What can I do?

Unfortunately, National Instruments Corporation discontinued the Electronics Workbench application and you cannot upgrade it anymore. It has been replaced with NI Multisim. The new program is fully compatible with Windows 7 operating system on both 32 and 64-bit architecture and can be purchased from the official web page. Also, you can test it free of charge if you download and install its trial version.
